Helps with weight loss
Over the last year I've been on a weight loss diet. So far I've managed to lose 3 stone, which is 42 pounds.
It's taken me quite a while to get rid of this extra weight but then it went on slowly too over quite a few years.
On of the biggest aids to help me not just lose the weight but also to keep it off has been live yogurt.
When my mother-in-law died and we had to clear her house out we found a yogurt maker in the kitchen. It was new, still in the box, and had instructions with it. We brought it home and tried it out.
I bought a pot of live yogurt from the supermarket and used a couple of spoonfuls as a starter. It was really simple to make, you just have to be a bit patient because it takes 8 hours to make the yogurt.
When the time is up it has to stand in the fridge to cool down and chill.
Now, each time I have a meal I have 3 or 4 spoons of yogurt. There's something in the yogurt that helps your body deal with fat. I don't know what it is but I know for a fact that since I started eating the yogurt regularly I've lost more weight than I did before I ate the yogurt.
My husband does it too and he's lost even more weight that me.
